Accompanying Measures

The Accompanying Measures (AM) support the promotion of scientific culture as well as training and mobility of researchers, the organisation of scientific conferences in Luxembourg, scientific publications, national research coordination activities or initiatives of international collaboration. In addition, the FNR addresses several AMs directly to a larger public, specifically teachers. Scientific school projects – a scientific workshop, a trip to a scientific exposition – may be financed.
Online Submission System Now Open
All AM (**) applications have to be submitted via the new system https://grants.fnr.lu.
For the first steps in the online submission system, you can consult a very explicative tutorial by clicking on 'Help' at https://grants.fnr.lu. Please note that you have to register before being able to use this system. For any technical problems or questions, please contact us by email at tech-support@fnr.lu or call our Help Desk at +352 26 19 25 58.
If you encounter any connection problems to the system, please install the LuxTrust certificate from https://www.luxtrust.lu/cmscontent/file/root/ltqcaca.crt.
** Important change in the AM1 Submission procedure!!!
Due to problems in the use of the online system for AM1 applications, the FNR has decided to allow the submission of email and paper versions. Please find the application forms in English, French and German under “AM1-Promotion of Scientific Culture”.
Applicants preferring to submit their AM1-application via the online submission system are very welcome to do so.

AFR beneficiaries are no longer eligible for an AM2a and AM2b grant as they benefit from special conditions via their AFR scheme as of 1 January 2011.
