Accompanying Measures

Strengthening the general conditions for scientific research in Luxembourg is a major objective for the FNR. The Accompanying Measures (AM) support the promotion of scientific culture as well as training and mobility of researchers, the organisation of scientific conferences in Luxembourg, scientific publications, national research coordination activities or initiatives of international collaboration. In addition, the FNR addresses several AMs directly to a larger public, specifically teachers. Scientific school projects – a scientific workshop, a trip to a scientific exposition – may be financed.
ATTENTION : Significant changes in the AM4 publications scheme
The FNR herewith announces significant changes with immediate effect concerning its Accompanying Measure AM4 – Scientific publications including PhD-Theses.
The eligibility conditions are modified as follows:
1) Not only the author but also the editor of a publication is entitled to submit an application and is thereby eligible under the AM4 scheme.
2) From now on, authors and editors may submit more than one AM4 application within one calendar year (1st January to 31st December).
New deadlines
There are no more fixed calls on 1 April and 1 October. For all measures the calls are open all over the year, with deadlines fixed according to the beginning of each activity. To find out about the various deadlines, please click on each individual measure.
