Accompanying Measures

Strengthening the general conditions for scientific research in Luxembourg is a major objective for the FNR. The Accompanying Measures (AM) support the promotion of scientific culture as well as training and mobility of researchers, the organisation of scientific conferences in Luxembourg, scientific publications, national research coordination activities or initiatives of international collaboration. In addition, the FNR addresses several AMs directly to a larger public, specifically teachers. Scientific school projects – a scientific workshop, a trip to a scientific exposition – may be financed.

• AM5a - Thematic and Structural Research Platforms: Following the decision of its Board of Administration meeting of 19 March 2010, taken upon recommendation of its Scientific Council, the FNR has decided to close the AccompanyingMeasure AM5a as of 1 July 2010.
