AM1 - Promotion of Scientific Culture

Submission Deadline:

  • Six weeks at the latest prior to the planned activity for activities funded up to 5.000 EUR
  • Three months at the latest prior to the planned activity for activities funded with more than 5.000 EUR

The promotion of scientific culture is intended to stimulate the sensitivity of scientific issues among the Luxembourg population. Funded activities should raise the interest in science with the objective to create among citizens of all age, a profound understanding for the necessity of research as a guaranty for life quality and to fill youngsters with enthusiasm for scientific professions.

Funded are scientific and innovative activities, for example demonstrations in schools, scientific oral communications for a larger public, scientific competitions (quizzes etc.) for young people.

Eligible are public institutions or public bodies with a research mission, individuals (e.g. students, teachers) or non-profit organisations.
