CORE 2010: Information Day & Training Seminar "Key Factors for a Successful Proposal"

On invitation of the FNR the two following CORE 2010 Events will take place :
1. CORE 2010 Information Day
on Monday, 18th January 2010 at 5 p.m. at the Chamber of Commerce, 7 rue Alcide de Gasperi in Luxembourg-Kirchberg
The FNR Secretariat will give a brief overview of the CORE domains, some marginal changes of the Call 2010 compared to previous calls as well as the preliminary call schedule.
After the presentation, a short drinks reception is foreseen and the FNR CORE team will be at your disposal for further information.
2. CORE 2010 Training Seminar “Key Factors for a Successful Proposal”
on 19th and 20th January 2010 at the Chamber of Commerce, 7 rue Alcide de Gasperi in Luxembourg-Kirchberg
(Registration was required!)
The training seminar is especially targeted at young researchers planning to submit a proposal in the CORE Call 2010.
The seminar will be divided into two parts. A first lecture series, with all 45 registered participants, will be held in the morning of Tuesday, 19th January 2010.
The second part will consist in a half-day practice session on “how to write a convincing summary of a proposal, including analyses of dos and don’ts in proposals”. Three practice sessions, with a maximum of 15 participants each, will be held: one in the afternoon of Tuesday, 19th January 2010, one in the morning of Wednesday, 20th January 2010 and one in the afternoon of Wednesday, 20th January 2010.
