Open Positions for 2 PhD Students at the Laboratory for Photovoltaics

The Laboratory for Photovoltaics at the University of Luxembourg is searching for 2 PhD students. The Laboratory for Photovoltaics develops thin film solar cells, based on compound semiconductors.

The aim of both Ph.D projects is to investigate the synthesis of complicated semiconductor materials using low cost electrochemical and annealing methods.

The projects will involve synthesis, materials and opto-electronic characterization. The University of Luxembourg is a multilingual, international research University and an equal opportunity employer.

Your profile:

• You hold a diploma/masters degree in chemistry or physics with excellent grades.
• You have a solid background in one of the following: inorganic or physical chemistry, soft condensed matter, solid state physics, solar cells.
• You have an excellent working knowledge in English.
