Following the 2015/16 ATTRACT Call, the FNR is pleased to communicate that three researchers have been awarded ATTRACT Fellowships, an FNR commitment of 5.5. MEUR.
The aim of the DIGILEARN project is to further our understanding of the mechanisms underlying learning and transfer and to exploit new technologies to design scientifically validated interactive digital environments to efficiently enhance learning, transfer of learning and cognitive skills.
The aim of the SUNSPOT project is to improve the understanding of the surfaces and interfaces of polycrystalline materials that are relevant for photovoltaics.
The aim of the WAVE project is to investigate how climate change and environmental change effects vegetation and water resources.
About the FNR ATTRACT programme
The ATTRACT programme is designed for researchers not yet established in Luxembourg, who demonstrate the potential to become leaders in their field of research. The scheme offers promising junior researchers the opportunity to set up their own research team within one of the country’s research institutions. The financial contribution by the FNR can be up to 1.5 MEUR for Starting Investigators (Postdoc & Junior Researcher level) or 2 MEUR for Consolidating Investigators (Established Researcher level).
