The 11th edition of the annual FNR Awards Ceremony will take place on Friday, 25 October 2019. If you would like to join in this celebration of science and research in Luxembourg, register by Monday, 21 October.
What are the FNR Awards?
With the FNR Awards, the FNR aims to encourage communication between researchers, and to promote science-related activities aimed at the general public and the young. The FNR Awards highlight such work and reward both the awardees and their institutions.
The FNR annually presents awards in the categories ‘Outstanding Scientific Publication’; ‘Outstanding PhD Thesis’; ‘Outstanding Promotion of Science to the Public’, with ‘Outstanding Research-Driven Innovation’ added for the first time in 2017. These are presented at the annual FNR Awards Ceremony, attended by the Minister for Higher Education and Research.
The FNR Awards have been held annually since 2009. Attended by a wide range of members and stakeholders of the Luxembourg research community, the event also represents an ideal networking opportunity.
