The FNR is pleased to announce a new INTER Mobility Call for proposals. Deadline for applications is 30 June 2022, 14:00 CET. Five grants in this Call are earmarked for researchers from Ukraine.
The aim of the INTER Mobility Programme is to promote the scientific exchange between research groups of the Luxembourg public research institutions and outstanding research groups abroad in order to foster innovative, internationally competitive research and support the exchange of key knowledge and technological know-how. Thus the activities should have a strong impact on the research programme of the Luxembourg research group. The INTER Mobility Programme allows for research stays in both directions (researchers working in Luxembourg to visit outstanding research institutions abroad or for outstanding, established researchers from elsewhere to come to Luxembourg).
- The FNR intends to support those researchers who fled the war in Ukraine. Therefore, the FNR earmarks five grants for the call 2022-2. These applications should cover only incoming senior researchers from Ukraine. They will be grouped in a Fast Track procedure and will be evaluated by an external Panel. The results of the Fast Track will be expected during August 2022.
- 1 mobility grant for the exchange with RIKEN, Japan
- 1 mobility grant for the exchange with UC Berkeley in the US.
As for all other proposals, applications with RIKEN or Berkeley may cover ‘incoming’ or ‘outgoing’ mobility (or a combination of both).
