You want to communicate about your research or your passion of science through a YouTube video? If you are motivated to learn how to produce your own science web video, join us for a thrilling two-day training. Organised by the FNR, in cooperation with Wissenschaft im Dialog and the Fast Forward Science contest, this workshop will give you all insights and tools on how to produce your own science web video. Update: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this training has been postponed from April to Autumn 2020 (exact date to follow).
*You may already register. We will contact any people who have registered once the new date is decided. You may then confirm your registration or withdraw if you are not able to participate. The programme is planned to remain as is.*

Postponed to Autumn 2020, exact dates to follow
Friday:13:30-21:00 at Maison du Savoir, Belval
Saturday 09:00-17:00 at Maison du Savoir, Belval
Maison du Savoir in Esch/Belval (2, avenue de l’Université; L-4365 Esch-sur-Alzette – building “Auditoires”).
During the workshop
For the two days of the training, you will work in teams and each team will produce a web video (at least a part).
Famous YouTubers and science communicators from Wissenschaft im Dialog will hold the training. The workshop will be in English but your video can be done in these languages: English or German, but also in French or Luxembourgish, but in this case you will need subtitles (we can help you with that).
We encourage Luxembourg-based researchers to participate in the Fast Forward Science contest. You can submit your video there until 26 July 2020. Originally, the FNR training was scheduled for early April 2020, but due to COVID-19, it has been postponed to Autumn 2020. We still encourage you to participate in the contest! On the contest website, you can find previous submissions in the contest for inspiration.
