On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of their partnership, Fondation Cancer and the Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR) reaffirm their joint commitment to the fight against cancer. By signing a new cooperation agreement for the period 2026–2029, both institutions are continuing their successful collaboration, marking an important milestone for oncological research in Luxembourg.
Since 2015, Fondation Cancer and the FNR have jointly funded 17 research projects with a total of €11,811,100, enabling high-quality scientific work in the field of basic and applied cancer research. The President of the FNR, Martine Reicherts, and the President of Fondation Cancer, Dr Carole Bauer, are delighted with the continuation of this proven cooperation.
This alliance combines the FNR’s scientific expertise in project evaluation with the Fondation Cancer’s patient-oriented work and its contacts in the healthcare sector.
