As part of our dynamic Public Engagement team, you will be responsible for developing and managing digital content across various platforms, mainly for science.lu, while also contributing to the coordination and promotion of public events and supporting team operations. Your responsibilities include:
- Creating, publishing, commissioning and promoting social media content (posts, videos, carousels, teasers, infographics, etc.) in four languages (LU, FR, DE, ENG) across platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
- Identifying relevant trends and contributing creative ideas to increase audience engagement.
- Supporting the management of our public-facing website science.lu (scheduling articles, integrating them into the CMS, sending newsletters, and promoting content).
- Helping organise and promote events aimed at the public (e.g. Researchers’ Days, Scicom Lux).
- Assisting with the coordination of training activities and providing administrative support to the team.
Your profile
- You are highly familiar with and passionate about social media, and can demonstrate creative work either professionally or in your personal time.
- You follow the latest developments in digital communication and know how to tailor content to engage young and diverse audiences.
- You are comfortable using basic video and graphic editing tools (e.g. Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).
- You are organised, reliable, and able to work autonomously, while also being a collaborative team player.
- You enjoy coming up with ideas and contributing to team efforts with initiative and creativity.
- You hold at least a secondary school diploma (baccalauréat) or a higher education degree (e.g. Bachelor or Master).
- You have strong writing skills in French, German and Luxembourgish, and a good understanding of English.
- An interest in topics related to research, education, or public outreach is considered an advantage.
