Researchers: Participate in a poster session on youth at a conference from the Luxembourg Parliament 

Submit a short proposal to participate in a poster session during a conference on 23 and 24 May at Cercle Cité, Luxembourg. The conference is organised by the Luxembourg Parliament and is supported by FNR. Topic: Challenges of youth. Deadline: 18 March, 14:00 CET.  

The conference is dedicated to the challenges that young people are facing in Luxembourg. The Luxembourg Parliament (‘Chambre des Députés’) as well as the FNR are calling on researchers interested in participating in a research poster session on 23 May from 16:00 at the Cercle Cité in Luxembourg City, with the aim of promoting exchange between research, the world of politics and civil society. Their posters will remain on display on 24 May, but the presence of the researchers, although encouraged, is not compulsory.

How to submit a proposal

To submit a proposal, please fill in the form in French, English or German (the language of the resulting poster) with the following:  

  • Surname, first name, institutional affiliation, function/status, contact; 
  • An abstract of maximum 400 words explaining the context of the research, the research question(s), the methodology, and the results; 
  • A maximum of 4 bibliographical references; 
  • A sketch/draft of the poster 

Posters must be related to youth research. 

The proposals must be submitted via the dedicated page: https://www.chd.lu/en/poster_session_youth  

Deadline for the submission of proposals: 18 March 2024, 14:00 CET. 

Proposals will be selected on the basis of their relevance, innovative nature and scientific quality. The selection panel will be made up of members of the Scientific Unit of the Luxembourg Parliament and supported by members of the FNR. 

Authors will be informed of the selection results quickly after the call deadline. Posters of selected proposals must be sent in PDF format by Monday 13 May at the latest. The organisers will print the posters (A0 size) and display them in the Cercle Cité conference room.
