Abstract“The ASPIRE (Asteroids, Space & Planetary Awareness: Innovative outReach & Education) project, led by the Asteroid Foundation, is committed to fostering a strong and diverse STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) talent pipeline in Luxembourg, with a particular focus on engaging students in space science and planetary defence. Recognising the essential role of the arts in learning, we integrate creative methodologies—such as data sonification, visual storytelling, and interactive design—to help make complex scientific concepts more accessible and engaging. Our initiatives, including Planetary Defence Challenge, SpaceConnectsUs workshops, and the internationally recognised Asteroid Day programme, bring together astronauts, planetary scientists, artists, and educators to inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and innovation in learners of all backgrounds.   ASPIRE places special emphasis on inclusivity, ensuring that our educational approaches engage and empower diverse audiences. Past events have highlighted the power of innovative tools, such as using sound to represent astrophysical data, demonstrating that science is not only visual but can be experienced in multiple ways. These approaches are invaluable not only for individuals with specific needs but also for all learners, as they provide new pathways to understanding scientific phenomena. By incorporating such strategies, we broaden participation in space science and foster equitable learning opportunities, ensuring that the next generation of space professionals is as diverse and innovative as the challenges they will tackle. ASPIRE’s objective is to create a sustainable and inclusive platform for STEAM education that prepares students to lead in the future of space exploration.”
