Science Festival: 22 & 23 November 2025

From 22 to 25 November 2025, the Luxembourg-Grund district will be transformed into a lively hub of scientific discovery for the 15th edition of the Science Festival. This major event, organised jointly by the National Museum of Natural History (MNHN) and the FNR, invites scientists, schoolchildren and curious minds from all walks of life to a very special experience: a festival where they can experiment, discuss, learn and, above all, marvel.

Since its first edition in 1995, the Science Festival has established itself as a fixture in Luxembourg’s scientific landscape, attracting between 10,000 and 12,000 visitors per edition. Over the years, it has become a real tradition, bringing together researchers, institutions and the interested public who share a common goal: the communication of scientific knowledge.

Through its thematic diversity and direct exchange between the public and the scientific community, the festival contributes significantly to strengthening the social importance of research in Luxembourg.

With 67 interactive workshops and shows, the festival invites people of all ages to delve into issues that shape our everyday lives. Whether it’s controlling robots, building a photovoltaic cell, learning about Ebola or watching spectacular shows, each discipline is presented in a clear and accessible way, and complex content is brought to life in a playful and exciting manner.

The integration of the permanent exhibitions at the Naturmusée extends the experience beyond workshops and shows, offering space for further discoveries.
