Launch of the Luxembourg Agency for Research Integrity (LARI)

Luxembourg now has a national agency for research integrity. LARI – the Luxembourg Agency for Research Integrity – was formally created in 2016 and as of late September also has a committee of international experts on the topic. This week, the committee was in Luxembourg to meet Marc Hansen, Luxembourg’s Minister for Higher Education and Research.

WiSE – Women in Science and Engineering in Luxembourg: Conclusions and Recommendations from the WiSE Colloquium

The FNR has compiled a report following the colloquium WiSE (Women in Science and Engineering), held in the beginning of the 2017 in conjunction with the exhibition of the same name. The event brought together 100 scientists, engineers, influencers and decision makers from the Luxembourg public and private research sector and beyond. What is the current situation for women in science and engineering in Luxembourg and how can we do better?

Space Resources: FNR joins economic mission to US

This week, the FNR joins Etienne Schneider on the Luxembourg economic mission to the US. Also present on the trip is Crown Prince Guillaume and Crown Princess Stephanie. The trip includes visits to Planetary Resources, SSL and the NASA Ames Research Center.

PayPal – FNR PEARL Chair in FinTech
