The 2020 M-ERA.NET Call is open for proposals. 29 funding agencies from 23 countries participate with a total budget of more than 20 MEUR national/regional funding. Deadline to submit pre-proposals is Tuesday, 16 June 2020, 12:00 CET.
The aim is to fund ambitious transnational RTD projects addressing materials research and innovation including materials for low carbon energy technologies and related production technologies. M-ERA.NET aims to strengthen the contribution of materials R&D to energy-related applications where applicable.
The FNR supports this Call with a maximum contribution of 500,000 EUR as part of its INTER programme to foster international collaboration.
M-ERA.NET is an EU funded network which, established in 2012 to support and increase the coordination of European research and innovation programmes and related funding in materials science and engineering.
Between 2016 and 2021, the M-ERA.NET consortium will continue to contribute to the restructuring of the European Research Area (ERA) by operating a single innovative and flexible network of national and regional funding organisations.
M-ERA.NET contributes to EU policies and is complementary to funding schemes at regional, national and European levels, supporting the exploitation of knowledge along the whole innovation chain from basic research to applied research and innovation.
