How to engage with policymakers: The FNR’s online training for researchers takes place virtually on Monday 4th March (14h00-16h00) and Tuesday 5th March (10h00-12h00). A link will be sent to the participants.
Do you want your research to have an impact in society? Great, but you will need to understand how policy-making work in order to avoid that scientific evidence falls on deaf ears.
In this workshop, you’ll learn about the risks and opportunities in communicating with decision makers, about the respective roles of researchers and policymakers in interactions between science and politics, as well as how to tailor your message to the political audience, and how to navigate the political landscape.
The places for this training are limited and will be distributed on a first come, first served basis (priority has been given to the participants of the Pairing Scheme). Eligible are all researchers working for a Luxembourgish research institution/association.
