Job opportunity at FNR: Administrative Assistant

The FNR is seeking to recruit an Administrative Assistant on a full-time (40h/week), permanent (CDI) basis. Deadline to apply is 18 April 2024. Earliest start: 1 July 2024.

Your function

You will integrate in a team of Programme Support Managers who are tasked with the role of providing the administrative and financial support for running research funding programmes. In particular: You will operate the handling and monitoring of grant applications and support the accounting activities.

Your profile

  • Holder of a secondary school diploma (Bac or equivalent)
  • Affinity for budgets and financial project reports
  • Work experience in a similar environment is considered as an asset
  • Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English and French and/or German; good command of Luxembourgish
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Tools
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Strong communication skills; rigorous; sense of responsibility and initiative; open-minded personality
  • Excellent team spirit
  • Interest in science
